Terms

Reading Rail is a free reading accommodation utility. These terms keep its promises appropriately narrow and honest.

Using Reading Rail

You may use, copy, modify, and distribute Reading Rail under the MIT License. You are responsible for following the rules that apply to pages and devices you use it with.

No medical claim

Reading Rail is not a medical device, treatment, diagnostic tool, or guarantee of improved reading. It is a visual focus aid designed to help some readers keep their place.

Availability

The extension is provided “as is,” without warranties. Browser-protected pages, browser stores, PDF viewers, and pages with unusual rendering may limit where a content extension can operate.

Content and speech

You remain responsible for page content you read. Read-aloud uses voices and speech facilities provided by your browser or operating system, whose availability can vary.

Changes

We may improve or discontinue the extension. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by the effective date above and in the public source history.
